Night City is back — but with a brand-new crew. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 returns to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 for a standalone 10-episode story, separate from David Martinez and Lucy’s tragedy in Season 1. This time the lens belongs to Roman Carax, a young cinephile who believes his camera can capture the truth of a city addicted to spectacle — until the city starts filming back. Around him gathers an unlikely crew: Talia Yang, a former corporate insider now wired into the Maelstrom gang; D, a Snake Nation netrunner driven by revenge; and Weak Kingsley, a veteran edgerunner who cannot outrun his own past. Their paths collide around the Blackwall — the sealed-off rogue AIs beyond Night City’s firewall — and the braindance trade that turns other people’s memories into product. Creators describe this season as sadder, darker, bloodier and more raw than the first, with a 1990s-cinema feel (Pulp Fiction, Léon: The Professional) instead of pure spectacle. All 10 episodes drop at once on Netflix on October 20, 2026.

The new season centers on Roman Carax, Talia Yang, D and Weak Kingsley. In the English dub, Clancy Brown voices Weak Kingsley, alongside Valeria Rodriguez, Kimoy Lee and Nazeeh Tarsha, with Daniel Wu as Kiril Yang, Cesili Williams as Avida Yang, Brittany Lauda as Capri and E.G. Daily as Kyoko Tanaami. The Japanese voice cast includes Momoka Terasawa and Akari Kito in lead roles.
