The Mongoose (2026) — Liam Neeson Action Thriller: Release Date, Cast & Trailer
He has nothing left to lose — and the whole country is watching him run. The Mongoose stars Liam Neeson as Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a decorated Afghan war veteran who is wrongly accused of murder and refuses to surrender. Instead he steals a 1965 Shelby Cobra, hits the highway, and leads police on a televised cross-country chase at 130 mph — with his old Special Forces brothers backing him and a sympathetic public cheering him on. Directed by Mark Vanselow (Neeson’s longtime stunt double, making his feature directing debut), it is a throwback car-chase thriller in the Duel / Vanishing Point mould, with Marisa Tomei, Ving Rhames and Michael Chiklis alongside Neeson. In theaters October 30, 2026 — theaters only, no streaming date announced.
