Story / Synopsis
Steven Spielberg returns to alien first-contact territory with Disclosure Day, and from today it’s streaming on Peacock. Emily Blunt plays Margaret Fairchild, a television meteorologist whose live broadcast is interrupted by an impossible event — one that leaves her changed. Her path collides with Dr. Daniel Kellner (Josh O’Connor), a cybersecurity expert turned whistleblower who has stolen classified data exposing a decades-long cover-up of extraterrestrial life. Hunted by Wardex, a powerful para-governmental corporation led by the ruthless Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth), the two race to do the unthinkable: broadcast the truth to all seven billion people at once. Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo co-star; John Williams scores his 30th Spielberg collaboration.
