Hokum (2026) — Adam Scott’s Folk Horror on Hulu

NEON’s Hokum brings one of 2026’s most talked-about horror films to streaming. Adam Scott plays Ohm Bauman, a reclusive novelist who retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes — only to find himself consumed by the staff’s tales of an ancient witch said to haunt the honeymoon suite.

Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance drag him into a nightmarish confrontation with the guilt, addiction and childhood trauma he has spent years trying to bury. Written and directed by Damian McCarthy (Caveat, the cult hit Oddity), it’s Irish folk horror soaked in fall atmosphere — practically made for an October watch.
